Jewells of Thought

This morning before 9 am, I arrived early to my appointment. Fortunately this time I did drive myself. Still no sunglasses, since I couldn’t wear contacts this morning.

She asked me several questions, and I answered in like manner. She seemed pretty happy with how everything looked. Then she said look up, look down and then oh it’s on my finger. The band-aid came off and stuck on her finger.

My eye is 98% healed, but she did have a bit of a caveat. Once this happens there is a small percentage of recurrence. It was noted I need to make sure I put in drops before going to bed every night to make sure this does not reoccur. Unfortunately, my dad has been suffering from dry eyes for 6 months if not longer. This was not my first time, but I don’t remember what happened exactly that last time and now that doctor retired.

So tomorrow I will be able to wear my contacts again. I just do not need any more scratches or dry eye in the family right now. Hopefully, I will be able to remember to put eye drops in my eyes before bed and not have any early morning scratches.

I do want to thank everyone for their thoughts prayers and comments on Facebook! I didn’t think an Eye Predicament would actually bring more views or wanted more views because of that reason. I guess some could see that as entertainment especially with as much going on that day as there was; I simply cannot make these things up!
