July… Almost Over

In the heat of the summer Christmas still feels a world away from now. It’s not though we are less than half a year away from it. Fortunately there are other holidays to enjoy first though we don’t go head first into the season.

I know mailing Christmas cards seems to be outdated and extremely old-fashioned, but not for everyone. When I made these cards I just had a blast creating with the pieces I cut out and the pieces the left overs made not knowing what I could or would do with them. There is something so exciting about a new adventure or clean slate of a blank page or card in this case.

Some of the cartridges I have are really neat and complex looking. These cut out pieces can be amazing, looking like pieces of art. I have never thought of myself as an artist who can draw like my Uncle Tony. Yet I know I enjoy playing with both asymmetrical and symmetrical fun.

Enjoy this last full week of July and remember your roots as Americans. Think about the cards or messages and yes possible text messages you need to send out this Christmas Season and put some thought into them. Our younger generations are watching and they need to see our American Pride shine through us.

There is only one photo left of my cards to share with you!
