Waking Up Today…

For some reason I woke up really early around 5 am. The entire movement lasted all of 5 seconds or less, but I have felt the pain nearly all day except for 10 blessed minutes.

This is the way I want to feel like right now not the photo from earlier!

Unfortunately our eyes don’t produce tears at night and in those few nanoseconds of waking up early unleashed such a pain. I thought initially it was an eyelash that poked and believed some clear eyes would clear it out. That would be too simple a problem for today though. Tomorrow is an interview for me and Uncle Tony is prepping for a colonoscopy for Friday as well. Not to mention Mom, James and even Selena had an appointment today.

Never thought I would be adding to the list of appointments today… yet glad I was able to get into her at the same time.

I wonder if there was a discount on the 3 people going to the same doctor day or something? Since literally the three scheduled appointments today were with the same doctor. Anyhow some weird occurrences are happening with us today.

After seeing the doctor her first thought was Pink Eye. A second look told her differently fortunately. So I have a contact band-aid on my right eye until Tuesday. She is also giving me eye drops. I am so thankful I was able to get in and be seen today.

I was in so much misery I actually showed a bad-day hair photo. Since this is an eye issue my tear duct and my nose are in tandem running away with my fluids. They are doing a bit better now, but I look like a crying-snotty fool.

Earlier trying to call the eye doctor I had troubles making out the numbers so I resisted the urge to write more than that earlier post until seeing the doctor. Now I feel like I can manage, but I do feel a bit exhausted from the whole day. Our travelers just returned this afternoon as well. Selena had a doctors appointment she had to be here for so they got here just in time for her school shots.

This thing gives me nightmares thinking of mischievous girls!

This little nurse, however, said I had to have a shot since she had two today. So guess where she decided I needed it right above my right eye. I told her, those sisters of hers gave me all the shots I needed a month ago, but she still insisted. I can’t complain too much since my nurse sat with me as I napped a little bit. Talk about bedside manners; from 1-10 I give her a 9 since she still gave me a shot.

I have to say it has been quite a day. This was not quite in the schedule, but I am rolling with the punches everything is working out. My pain level earlier that was quite frankly a 15 has gone down to an 8. Hopefully these drops and Tylenol will help the pain decrease even more for an interview tomorrow God-willing!
