The times in my life when I lose all track of time by far deal with a computer screen and researching my Grandpa’s service time. I have memories in the Barger-Richardson Library being in the computer room for hours, because my dorm was as big as a car space. This was freedom for me to enjoy the research.
Once that research was compiled I would then spend more hours in front of a computer screen writing for hours on end losing all track of mind due to the absolute intrigue and passion of the subject of my work. This of course didn’t make it work; it was a labor of love.
So if I am not researching or writing I still have a love for reading. As I recently mentioned after a death I found myself reading more than usual and actually finished a book in less than 2 days a 50 chapter book. This author became my most adored and admired Sarah Sundin. Her books transport me to destinations pretty much in war-torn Europe, but at times it feels like I’m following many footsteps of real Americans and what they could have indeed lived through.
I do promise though, I don’t just only read and research. I am a book nerd, but I am and have been a mowing nerd. Plus I did have my 30 minute walk this morning!
