Doesn’t it seem like we were just at the beginning of the year? What happened to the time?

I know I have spent a lot of time with my face pressed against my computer, but not every single minute. Just every other single minute. Some articles have come pretty quickly so I really can’t complain about being stuck in my computer.

The thought that I would be nearing my 300th article within 6 months simply wasn’t a thought. My routine with writing has gone in differing rounds. Right now I am writing 4 articles all through the week. Then on the weekends I will still complete the writing prompts, but it depends on the weekend. On Sundays I don’t do anything well until afternoon or after the night service. Sometimes if there’s enough intriguing ideas floating around I like writing ‘Sunday Night Thoughts’.

This can be a challenge, but I have been up for the task and keep at it. Only a handful of days have I rarely made my quota for the day. Life does surprise even me with snafus and not making my own deadlines, it’s a good thing I can’t fire myself on those days for sure. I never intended to be blogging again after I let go of the dream a few years ago. I suppose God had other ideas and He has blessed these past few months with an active readership. It overwhelms me the numbers I have been seeing and the comments.

Something about this year makes me feel feisty about good old fashioned common sense and what the Bible says about the truth being twisted and avoided at all costs by some people. God’s word is unshakable even in 2023, only a couple thousand years later.

Goodness… soon my niece will be back in school. Wow! School Time is closing in on kids for certain.I know we aren’t ready for that. It’s much too soon!

Yet it’s the middle to end of July the 7th month. I do not even want to mention what’s coming next holiday wise. I still need my own vacation first, before I am ready for Fall.
