This question brought back the message my heart was receiving Sunday morning. Both in Sunday School and the Morning Message hit me with the words comfortable and purpose. My pillow props up my laptop so I can write. I have made our computer room/piano room/dad’s office and my office space and library as well when I can use it.
Comfortable is what we make of it. However, I do have the ability to write in a comfortable and safe zone here in Indiana. Bryan is in Los Angeles, but he hails from Boston. What would happen if I were to potentially move to what is considered a liberal blue state compared to where I have grown up?
Yes the world in general is looking for the little comforts, but we as Christians are called to minister to others not necessarily giving much thought to our own safety or comfort. Very lovingly Bryan has reiterated my thoughts back to me about my writing going to specific people who God already knows who needs such articles.
This would undoubtedly be the most amazing move and scariest move for me to make. We are not there yet still several things would have to happen first, but it is already on the table for me. If this is the will of God and Bryan and I are able to see this work out for us; I will be out of my comfort zone but not my safety zone with Bryan and God.
