For Such A Time: Patriots & Allies

Did you know a lot as a 10 year kid? Maybe there’s a difference in us being here and this particular 10 year old; since he was on another continent. Do you think you would have had as much comprehension if a superpower was in your country?

Nasrat Ahmad Yar was only 31 years old. Last Monday night he was killed while he was working. The night before our Independence Day, one he specifically worked for to be here and to benefit from serving with our military for years. This, by the way, is not an uncommon story with our allied interpreters.

What Price Do We Put On Sacrifice?

He is not the only death on this Administration’s hands!

This man began working for the U.S. since he was at the ripe age of 10. He and his widow have 4 children the oldest being a 13 year old girl to a 15 month old. If he had not had his connections and gotten them out of Afghanistan the women in his life could be in physical danger. As of right now they are only in danger from democrat policies.

One of the best friends he had was Rahim Ahmini and Rochester First interviewed him for an article that was posted Saturday morning. Yar, who served with the U.S. in Afghanistan only to die in DC, was robbed in Philadelphia before moving to Virginia.

Ahmini, was besides his best friend another man the U.S. took on as an interpreter and he told the reporter his friend’s poignant words. “Don’t forget the people left behind.”

Another sentence of Yar’s was this, “I have guys here I need to support… When I don’t feel that they don’t need my support then I can go to America.” He saw his work as being essential for future generations within his country.

Al Jazeera also wrote a piece on their website. All of the information south of here is from this second article. Due to Biden’s inflation and the recent robbery, Jar was driving for a rideshare company in Washington, D.C. I have seen the video where the 4 boys are running away after killing him inside his car.

“He was not my blood brother, but he was more than that to me,” Amini friend and fellow interpreter said. “The only times we were separate from each other was when he was sleeping. We worked together, laughed together, were eating together.” They met at what is now the Chinese Bagram Air Base right, thanks to Biden’s massive degenerate flub.

This man should have felt more safe here. We failed this hero and his family. He was ready and willing at such a young age. His love for his country saved his family and allowed him to get them to safety away from the Taliban thankfully. There were so many that this administration left stranded. This family got out, but now at what cost? The man who should be enjoying his family is now gone after faithfully serving his country and ours.
