Indiana Supreme Court Decision

Last week I wrote a double whammy on my niece’s birthday and on being a pro-lifer who knows the reality of the facts in my ‘200th Article’. Also last week I debuted ‘The Hands of my Fathers Series’ and ‘Play Time Files.’ I guess this was what you call the perfect storm. Friday June 23rd my Jewell’s of Thought site had an influx nearly tripling my viewership. A slight increase has occurred ever since until our power outage on Thursday and Friday briefly. I would like to say Thank You for your patronage!

Another article came on my feed from the Gateway Pundit this morning. The Indiana Supreme Court has made a Decision in the shadow of the three previous U.S. Supreme Court Decisions that have been announced to the Country. There had been an injunction to ban the newly signed SB1 of last year to not be enforced. Planned Parenthood said it, “criminalizes their work.” Friday the Indiana Supreme Court vacated the injunction allowing the abortion ban to be implemented by August 1st of this year.

Now the ACLU who challenged this ban in the first place still has 30 days to seek a rehearing during this time. These are apparently rarely ever granted.

So, what does this mean for Hoosiers? Our state legislators listened to us. Even when our Governor didn’t think girls and women were a worthy cause to be championed not long ago, we are being heard by our state government on this issue. This is something to be very proud of considering what our state was not able to do early on during the covid situation.

Hoosier Women You have a Voice and it IS being Heard!

Now we have to Step Up for those Women who will still find themselves with babies and all kinds of uncertainties. This is where what we believe and our actions have to equate!

All of the women in my life have wanted their children immensely and have lovingly adopted the children God gave them. They are precious. Their birth circumstances are not of their making… yet think of the amazing men and women they could become with loving parents willing to show up for them. Whether adopted or having your family naturally those children mean everything to their parents.

In this bill are three exceptions to performing an abortion. In order to save the mother’s life. If the fetus has been diagnosed with a fatal anomaly. Lastly if this pregnancy is specifically due to rape or incest. There are further time frames and conditions that must be met. Possible consents will be needed for a minor.

Knowing what has been uncovered from these survivors of the abortion clinics, we know there is little of the emotion called love in those buildings. The care of the mostly volunteer staff of Christian women and men stands provocatively in contrast. Thank Goodness we live in Indiana where most of us have Midwestern, Christian values in our homes. Just look at the Catholic men who have been targeted for their values praying at some clinics in other states not as red as ours. The Pregnancy Centers need to be protected, yet the FBI is protecting the abortion centers.

In that last article I mentioned New York, California and Michigan are peddling abortion as if it is tourism. So if we are a red state we have to show our priorities as well right? Those states are losing money because the Governors don’t relate to their constituents and they are scraping at ideas to bring anyone in. We don’t have to sell our values. We live them out. How many times have you moms and dads taken in your kids friends as your own while you have them in your home? How many people take time to donate to the Pregnancy Center?

I could probably list a lot of my friends names and they have prayed fervently over our Linton Center. I remember being at Fellowship when the news was announced it was happening, getting a couple of tours of two sites. We should be proud of our Center and what God’s will and His people have been able to do through it all these years!
