Thank Goodness

We were expecting another night of no power. It was really freeing no devices to always be checking only being able to do so much with my phone since my laptop was off limits pretty much. I slept pretty well considering it was warm yesterday.

Believing this morning we would at least have another night of this situation we were bracing for our freezer and refrigerator situation. One idea came to my mind instantly; pizza. Without the oven, our new grill brought an old idea to mind that we had not attempted. So this gave me a chance to try out an idea and let Dad have fun at his new grill.

Oh my goodness… the aroma was amazing.

As I prayed over our food this evening I still had to bring to the forefront our thought of the last few days, but really of the last couple of months. One of Daddy’s older sisters has been battling a mix of lung and heart issues.

Life is precious, cherish your time with your family. Last night we had my niece and got to have some family time without the noise of devices it was nice.
I have always thought a night of ‘no electricity’ would be a good night to snuggle with the one you love and embrace the idea of no devices that evening.
