It’s funny how my niece says she doesn’t like the color pink. As you can see most of her stuff ends up being easily found due to the color!

Don’t those goggles look pink to you?

We only had Selena’s sisters with us for a few hours, but boy can they find all her treasures. Oh… but don’t think for a minute it stops there. Somehow by the time they left it seemed to look like her room had been meticulously combed and then left in various places for her to find later. Or perhaps for us to find later!

Kind of like a treasure adventure that wasn’t planned!

That we in fact have to pick up!

One of those wonders from Selena’s room is her box of little diamond paintings. Her younger sister found it and decided she had to do one of them. So then her other sister had to do one, but for as much excitement they had neither of them finished their paintings. Of course snack time may have changed their amusement. I forgot what I was doing and already had a Dr. Pepper in the fridge and was about to open it for myself, not knowing we would have 3 girls for the afternoon. Once I saw those 2 pairs of eyes on my drink I realized my folly. Fortunately, I was able to think quickly and find some little cups for them. Of course when you start with drinks, of course, you need a snack, right? My go to snack is pretzels, one girl had one, but the other one didn’t want one. So I knew I had Doritos, I also knew it was less than half a bag. Yes they both finished off the bag, but it would not have been enough to ruin their supper. This is summer break though right? They should have a little fun during their vacation from school!

Goodness this was all before three doctors came out of the woodwork to give me my shots!

I don’t remember asking for this adventure, but it found me.

Just Saturday at my niece’s birthday party seeing this one little boy brings back the pain my head feels when he is near.

He bopped me on the head and I didn’t see it coming. Boy I thought I was going to have a concussion.

Actually I was really impressed at how these girls have grown and how they were interacting with each other.
