Do you still have moments where the loss of someone hits you hard? Spending as much time as I have through the past decade has given me an outlet to feel secure in sharing with others the bittersweet memories of losing my loved ones.

This week seemed a fitting time to share this meticulous Series with a new group of viewers. My prayer is that it could be an inspiration for your family. How loved a Patriarch can be in that it still affects our family 18 years later. Honestly, mourning never stops you have to learn to live without that person, but you yourself must choose to remember that person in order to keep their relationship with you intact.

There is another beautiful story of my Grandparents that I will be working on for July coming up soon. Two brothers, our cousins and neighbors, became an extended story of the love of Rosie and Fred showed others. I don’t know how many articles will be on this topic or the special day we had last year, but it will was an emotional day for our Alsman and Smith Families.
Father’s Day has always been a special day, but today is also the day Freddy and Rosemary got married 68 years ago. Unfortunately, Freddy didn’t make it to their 50th year to Celebrate, he was gone with around 4 more months give or take to today’s date. Grandma made it to the 64th year herself. Their union was a matter of God in every way shape and form. God created them for each other so imperfectly perfect. I pray my relationship will be as blessed.

Take advantage of your father’s, you fellow children. Having Godly men in your lives is crucial to maintain some kind of stability in your life as being their child. Obedience and respect are not overrated; its good manners and being respectable. Life is so short and riddled with pain having family for guidance, support and a shoulder to cry on is essential. This is exactly why God created a couple as a man and woman with children they complement each other and need each other. Families can still be non related and have this same effect through adoption, but a family sticks together.
