Do you have to take time to ponder what you have read? Reading through the Carthage Books again, I have lost count on whether it is my 3rd or 4th time through. The poignancy of the book takes a while to settle on me.
Decisions have consequences and you have to either be really dumb to not understand that or ready for them before a final decision is made. No matter how many times I cry through these three books does not discount the amazing lessons one learns from reading the series. There are a handful of articulate lines from the last couple of chapters that leave me in tears, but tears of acquiescence.
There are several of these lessons I will share this is simply an introduction. Is your heart prepared for what they are? The first read through I was not either, but each read through reveals new information just as the Bible does each time you read a passage.
