Is the internet really a good thing? Why did I feel like I was out of circuit without my source of internet? This is what has always scared me with the internet. What happens when the internet or the power goes down? This is also why I never want a home or apartment with stuff on my phone to work with the temperature or the safety measures you can get. It only works until it doesn’t.

Maybe I sound like a 20th Century woman, I am okay with that idea. Some things just shouldn’t be on the internet in my opinion. Although, you can’t hardly apply for a job without needing an email and applying on some portal.
Anyway, yesterday I had two articles typed out and posted before I left for an afternoon appointment. When I came back, I found a job posting I wanted to finish, I just needed a few more pieces of information, but knew I could submit it once I got home. My phone had been restless and kept trying to reconnect. I couldn’t reply to my boyfriends text at all. when I got home the internet was connected but wasn’t working. This is the kicker our internet was connected the entire time and stated it was strong. So why did our friendly tv not work, our computers or our phones not work. I have never seen my phone say SOS in the top corner where it usually shows how much connection.

Sometimes this happens and then first thing in the morning it’s all better. I woke up a couple times in the early morning, since that is when I get some of my boyfriend’s texts. Still it said “connecting…” not getting texts from someone you normally get from them at certain times is disconcerting. He didn’t hear from me all day. Not until 2 hours ago. That is a long time for us to not communicate. This is more usual for him, but not for me here in Indiana. He’s in California unfortunately.
How again did I get so intravenously entrenched in needing wi-fi for all of these important necessities of life. Watching tv, watching news, posting of course on here and on my social media outlets, researching different topics and of course applying for jobs?
