Well honestly, the idea of being a Medical Scribe is interesting. Maybe if I could see how difficult or easy it would be to keep up with the doctor and his patients, I could know whether it was worth pursuing. It’s funny I have tons of experience from jobs that didn’t require experience.
Now I have learned and received education in specific work, but they absolutely require experience even though I have taken assessments on my knowledge of medical terminology which is one of the key requirements to be a medical scribe. How are you supposed to gain experience if you can’t try out your skills in an interview or trial run to get the experience they want?
As far as I’m concerned there are 3 main requirements for the position. I have completed a class and assessments showing my competency with medical terminology, and according to this website I have posted 82 articles in two months, so it’s apparent I like to type. Plus, I believe, a willing attitude to learn and work hard to accomplish the goals of a scribe in whichever Clinic setting.
