This is kind of a complicated question. It depends on the item. The first thing that comes to mind is joint cream. My dad tried out a cheaper brand and didn’t think it worked for him. For several years my foot doctor prescribed me an over the counter brand, Voltaren for my ankle. I would not have survived work as a PCT in Dialysis for most of a year without using this cream. I left that career mid December and stopped using the cream.
Every night and morning before work. So I applied it twice before working each day. So come 2 months later without the cream all the pain seemed to come out of nowhere. I am only using the cream before I go walking now and it feels much better. Still that stuff is very potent talk to a doctor before using it to make sure it’s okay. My dad was only using it for a short time, but then his heart doctor said it wasn’t good for him since he has had A-Fibrillation troubles.
