Without much world traveling experience of my own, I have so many ideas flowing from my mind from this set of books. Not being a world traveler doesn’t mean I don’t want to travel. Books though, have given me quite an alluring detail into what I am exploring in each world within my tomes.

What are your thoughts on time travel? Obviously I don’t believe it can happen, …yet the idea has always been intriguing.
Perhaps the fact I was born in ’85, the year of the original ‘Back to the Future’ has something to do with it. Several movies come to mind. ‘The Love Letter’ in 1998, ‘Frequency’ 2000, ‘Somewhere in Time’ 1980, ‘The Kid’ 2000, ‘A Kid in King Arthur’s Court’ 1995. A ‘Journey Back to Christmas’ in 2016 and ‘A Timeless Christmas’ in 2020. Last year Hallmark created ‘Rip in Time’ and then just recently a new series finished called ‘The Way Home.’
Of course, this is just a slice of them, the ones I think are most tasteful. Although, I have a series of books that in my imaginative analytical mind is the best interpretation of what time travel as a Christian could be. For the quaint little newsletter I enjoyed editing for church I did write a cover article named ‘Sacrifice’.
When I officially finished the last book ironically it was the day of our Valentines Dinner. I wasn’t going to go to the dinner, but knowing I wasn’t going to go the preacher asked me to be the babysitter for literally what turned out to be a dozen kids with various ages. I did have one helper who was late to assist me. A baby up to teenagers, which wasn’t so bad, except I did have a runner. One of the in-between boys kept running down the stairs to his parents. It was an exhausting night to say the least. All of this on top of having read the last pages of the last book. I can be very emotional, so I don’t know if it was a normal reaction or if it was just me being me.
My favorite piece of this series is that it is loosely based on a real man. A man of Roman aristocracy born and raised in North Africa. Cyprianus Thasius, was an eloquent solicitor in his day during the 3rd Century, living at the shore of the Mediterranean Sea in the highly desired territory of Carthage.
