A Refresh

I am excited to share this new look and an added newsletter soon to everyone. Honestly, I was not sure how all of this was going to happen with my fortune, our family and Easter preparations and gatherings.

Sometimes I find myself naturally adapting to what comes my way. Adaptability. I did an article once about my January flower, the Snowdrop. Unfortunately, I am not able to say the contrary. Change is a fact of life. If I am going to have to change something; I would like to do it with style, substance and grace.

Exploring other cultures is fascinating. Several years ago, already, I found a book in my local Christian Book Store. It had a good low price, but I tend to wait for… something. Some books are easy picks and others I need to pace around and see if I’m drawn back to it sometimes. I don’t know how long I went back and forth with this particular book but it did for certain take a couple of looks.

My main concern was the idea on the back of the book…time travel. I don’t want to get too much into this for this post, but like all things there are good and bad versions of the idea of traveling through time. Is it a bad thing?

Change and refreshing can be what we need at different times and stages in life. I’m still amazed at how all of this stemmed from the need to take care of our family matriarch a couple of months ago. Without our need of giving her added protection of living in a community rather than by herself out in the country 10 minutes away from all of her children. Then my Dad and his sisters wouldn’t have begun going through the house tending to things and finding the lost letters. So many different pieces had to come together for me writing this post this evening.

God’s will still surprises me, and the fact that one apartment at this local residence just happened to be available at the time. Are you needing to make some changes in your life? Is it something you’re ready for or fighting against?
